WHAT IS MACHINE VISION LENS
How We Can Help
DRAWING UPON A HIGHLY EXPERIENCED TEAM OF ENGINEERS – INET IS ABLE TO DESIGN AND PRODUCE CUSTOM LENSES OPTIMIZED FOR LARGE FORMAT SENSORS THAT OFFER GREATER RESOLUTION AND LARGE APERTURE LENSES THAT MAKE MAXIMUM USE OF AVAILABLE LIGHT. RESOLVE OPTICS IS ALSO HIGHLY EXPERIENCED AT PRODUCING SPECIALIST MACHINE VISION LENSES THAT PROVIDE WIDE FIELDS OF VIEW WITH LITTLE OR NO DISTORTION, OPTICAL DESIGNS AND COATINGS THAT ARE BALANCED TO GIVE BEST PERFORMANCE AT A DESIRED WAVELENGTH OR WAVEBAND AND COMPACT LENS DESIGNS WHERE THE TARGET APPLICATION IS SPACE LIMITED.
WHEN DEVELOPING A NEW PRODUCT, WE TAKE YOUR APPLICATION CONDITIONS INTO ACCOUNT FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. WE CAN OPTIMIZE THE OPTICAL PARAMETERS TO SUIT. SIZE, WEIGHT AND MOUNT ARE ALSO ADAPTED TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS ON REQUEST
.
VERSATILE AND FLEXIBLE AND WITH THE WIDEST RANGE OF ELEMENTS AND MATERIALS FOR ALL KINDS OF APPLICATIONS.
WHEN WE START CUSTOMIZED MACHINE VISION LENS WE WILL FOLLOW THE PROCESS AS BELOW.
EVALUATION
After receiving the design requirements, verify the feasibility of customization and make a professional suggestions.
SAMPLES
After confirmation, design and development of the optical component will take place. Samples will be provided and we will give all needed support.
STRUCTRE & SCHEME
Determine the structural size of lens or other component according to the client request.
MASS PRODUCTION
After the production is completed , each product will undergo quality insperction and then packging for shipment.
QUOTATION
We will provide a quotation according to the design includes mass production, samples price and NRE cost.
SHIPMENT TRACKING
We will track the goods throughout the process and will deliver it door to door, while taking care of all relevant custom documents, PI and CI.
Selecting your lens
Selecting the correct machine vision lens is paramount to obtain high quality image for a correct and efficient following processing.
Though the result also depends on the camera resolution and pixel size, a lens is in many cases the stepping stone to build a machine vision system.
RFQ
-
Field of View (FoV): total area that can be viewed by the lens and imaged onto the camera sensor.
-
Working distance (WD): object to lens distance where the image is at its sharpest focus.
-
Depth of Field (DoF): maximum range where the object appears to be in acceptable focus. Sensor size: size of the camera sensor’s active area. This can be easily calculated by multiplying the pixel size by the sensor resolution (number of active pixels in the x and y direction).
-
Magnification: ratio between sensor size and FoV.
-
Resolution: minimum distance between two points that can still be distinguished as separate points. Resolution is a complex parameter, which depends primarily on the lens and camera resolution.
