Gpixel Announces New GLR1202BSI-L BSI Line Scan Sensor with 12.5 μm × 1000 μm Pixel for Laser Displacement Applications

Changchun, China / Antwerp, Belgium — May 22, 2026 — Gpixel (HKEX: 3277today announced the launch of the GLR1202BSI-L, a new addition to its GLR series of line scan sensors. Designed for high-end laser displacement sensing, the sensor combines a large pixel architecture, backside illumination (BSI) technology, and a high-speed readout design to deliver outstanding performance and sensitivity.

The GLR1202BSI-L features a large rectangular pixel size of 12.5 μm (H) × 1000 μm (V) and a resolution of 2000 × 1 pixels. Manufactured using advanced BSI wafer processing, it achieves a quantum efficiency of nearly 90% at 650 nm, ensuring excellent compatibility with mainstream laser displacement light sources.

The sensor supports two operating modes to meet different application requirements:

In addition, an on-chip 1 × 2 binning function is available, doubling the sensitivity and increasing the maximum line rate to 350 kHz. For greater flexibility in optical design and cost optimization, the GLR1202BSI-L is also available in a 1K-resolution option (1224 × 1), offering an active imaging length of 15.3 mm.

The sensor is packaged in a CLCC housing with double-sided anti-reflection coated glass. The overall package dimensions are 40 mm × 11 mm.
